Clay mask for all skin types
I have had this sample sachet lying around for ages and finally got around to trying it. I thought it might not be available any more but it is still on sale at Chemist Warehouse. I’m a big fan of Sukin skincare (although not so much their hair products) and like that it is Australian owned and their products are made in Australia. They also do no animal testing.
This is a pinky brown clay mask you apply to damp skin. I didn’t notice any smell but maybe because it’s old. I used this while in the bath so my face was probably a bit too wet. I applied it with a brush but you could use your fingers, and waited 15 minutes before rinsing it off in the shower. It didn’t set but I’m not sure if perhaps it would on only slightly damp skin. It didn’t tingle but maybe again if it dried I’d feel something.
The mask rinsed off nicely and after gently drying my face my skin felt clean and not dry or tight. It was possibly a little pink but the bath was a bit hot! I couldn’t see any dramatic difference in my mature combination skin but it didn’t dry out the drier areas (cheeks) and I think my pores looked cleaner. It says it’s suitable for all skin types but check the ingredients and other BH reviews to see how those with sensitive skin got on. It contains aloe vera, kaolin and rosehip oil among a number of others ingredients.
Because I had a sample sachet I don’t know what the opened life is, it usually comes in a tub. I wouldn’t rush out to buy this but I also wouldn’t turn it down if someone offered it to me.

Brown colour
I bought this masque from Chemist Warehouse as Sukin products were half price. The masque is a brown colour, when on my skin it looks like I am sunburt. This is according to my two children. If you do not get all of the masque off it will leave your skin brown. I would not say it has done anything great for my skin.

Ok but stings a little
This is a clay mask with additions of Rosehip oil, Shea Butter and Vit E. It’s not too harsh and drying and would suit people with skin that isn’t too dry or too oily. I’m not sure if it is the citrus or lavendar oil in the formula, but it does sting my face a little especially around the sides of the nose, which makes it a less relaxing experience, even though texture-wise it is quite nice and not too drying.
This is my third Sukin mask, and unfortunately still didn’t hit the mark. I wish Sukin would omit the irritating essential oils in their facial products. Not everything natural is non-irritating.

Great face mask
I use this once a week, and it brought all my acne to the surface and then my skin was really clear. It smells nice and is easy to apply. It’s a bit of a pain to rinse off and I often find that even after showering and having my face under the water and wiping with a face cloth and using my cleanser, I still find bit of it coming off on my towel.

One of the best!! Hydrating, purifying and great glow
This clay mask is similar to the Sukin Pink Clay Sensitive Masque in texture and results. It’s a nice deep red/pink colour with a beautiful natural smell, earthy but sweet. The mask is quite thick/solid but very smooth so it applied nice and evenly with a brush. I applied quite a thick layer so it wouldn’t dry out too fast and then take moisture out of my own skin, and after 15 minutes it was only partially dry so it made washing it off super easy (no rubbing to have to get dried bits off).
After I’d washed and dried my face, I could notice my face was beautifully clean and hydrated and extremely soft! It had evened my skin tone (especially brown spots and acne scarring on my forehead) and reduced my pore size so the dots on my nose/chin/forehead were a lot less visible. Skin wasn’t irritated and felt really hydrated (but I continued to use toner+serum+moisturiser to finish the facial and add extra hydration). The amazing glow and softness continued into the next day too.

Sukin’s Purifying Face Mask
I love Sukin’s products. They are always so gentle and contain botanical ingredients which is really inviting for my nose.
I’ve tried all of the other Sukin’s products but I have to say this is my favourite face mask created by them.
This face mask smells really lovely, it’s a lovely pink colour. The mask is thick in texture and I take my time to spread it across my face. It’s nice and cool against my skin.
I let the face mask dry which takes around 15 minutes and in the meantime, I just relax.
It’s easy to wash off with water. It leaves my skin feel really smooth and moisturised. I feel more relaxed, calm and de-stressed – just as the description says of the product. My skin also looks really bright and I look like I have a healthy glow.
This is a perfect way to start my day. I feel really relaxed even though I am lacking sleep with a newborn.
Best of all, it’s super affordable and you can buy it from your supermarket.

Gentle but effective mask
I have used and love this Sukin mask for years now. It’s a great one for all skin types, even sensitive. It purifies the skin and helps with acne, without stripping it of it’s natural oils. It leaves your skin feeling clean, smooth and glowy.
I recommend this mask to anyone who wants to try a face mask that’s more gentle on the skin while still doing what It’s supposed to.

A great mask
This face mask worked fine on my skin. It made my skin feel soft, refreshed and renewed.
I have very oily skin, and I found this very gentle. It wasn’t enough to be what I need face masks to be. I didn’t notice that much of a difference, and what I did notice didn’t last more than a few hours.
It works well, but I think it would work even more amazingly on someone with dry skin.
