Can’t live without it!!!
I’ve been using PawPaw ointment for the past 65- 70 years with fantastic healing results, however, ever since I discovered SUKIN brand – this is the ONLY one I recommend now.
NO PETROCHEMICALS!!!
I never go to a doctor for anything – not broken bones – not large patches of skin ripped off my arm, not bruises, cuts or sprains, torn muscles – SUKIN PAW PAW heals it all.
I buy 6 tubes at a time as I NEVER want to run out.
Recently I cracked my wrist and after two weeks I finally gave in to peer pressure and had an Ex-ray.
The person looked at it and freaked, saying
“We have to call an ambulance and get you to emergency – you need a cast from the wrist to the elbow!!”
I looked at her and calmly said – “What’s my alternative?”
So I ended up getting ba strap-on wrist brace and kept on applying large amounts of the Paw Paw and kept on doing what I always do.
In THIRTY ONE days it had healed!!

Does the job!
This is thicker than your average paw paw ointment and I don’t mind because it gets the job done. It comes in a tube and I like to apply it onto my lips which are always dry and come winter they are even more dry, cracked and sensitive. Having this paw paw ointment provides a layer of protection on my lips but also keeps them hydrated. You don’t need a whole lot of it and I like that it uses natural ingredients. Also like that it doesn’t test on animals and it doesn’t contain any animal derived ingredients. I’ve purchased this full price but I have seen it on promotion as well so it’s a bargain!

Protects and hydrates lips
This ointment is great for dry chapped lips. I tend to use this mainly on my lips but it can be used on any dry skin. It’s great value and lasts for ages. It has a light scent and is a thickish consistency that is comfortable to wear. This really protects my lips from wind and dry weather and leaves my lips soft and conditioned. The handy tube means I can just throw it in my handbag and use it whenever I feel my skin drying out. It’s very nourishing and hydrating and paw paw products are great for lips. I love the Sukin brand, it’s a trusted brand containing no nasties. This was a winner for me

I love not only using this as a lip balm but it’s also great to apply to dry elbows and hands too. When wearing it as a lip balm it isn’t sticky and it feels really rich and thick and conditioning. It can also be used over a lipstick to add a bit of sheen. Sometimes I also have really dry elbows and hands and I’ll apply a tiny amount of this to those areas and it absorbs within a few minutes of massaging it in and it softens the skin quite fast. This is definitely a product I would recommend especially to those who have dry cracked lips as this will fix your lips instantly.

Effective but not nice tasting
I bought this on sale as I was interested to see what paw paw ointment was like and the many uses that it can have. And a bonus is that I trust the sukin brand.
It is a thick ointment and therefore rehydrates the skin well. Well suited to rough, dry areas of skin. But this also means that you can’t lather it on as it doesn’t get absorbed easily and is quite sticky. For example if I apply some to my hands, they stay tacky/sticky for a long time.
I have taken to using it as my lip balm before bed and although it is effective, I can’t say that the taste of it is any good. It’s pretty plain as it probably should be and is almost like applying a plain Vaseline ointment to your lips.

Way too thick
I like using paw paw ointment as a multi-purpose balm on dry patches, especially during winter. Sukin’s paw paw ointment got the job done, as it protected and moisturised my lips and hands. Sadly, I found the formulation way too thick. It’s so thick that it was hard to get out of the tube, it was hard to use, it was hard to spread, so I just ended up using more than what I needed.

Too thick
I really wanted to love this paw paw ointment. I have been using Lucas Paw Paw ointment for years and I wanted to try something different so I bought this one by Sukin.
My immediate thoughts are that it is too thick compared to LPP. I mainly use the ointment on my lips, so I like the formula to be light and easy to apply. This ointment is very thick so it’s not as glossy as I prefer.
I understand this might be better for other uses including cuts, scratches, insect bites, etc.
The only great thing about this ointment is that it doesn’t contain petroleum- which is a huge plus.
If I ever need a paw paw ointment for something other than my lips, this will be my first choice.
