my skin feels quite greasy directly after applying and there is a slight shine but it’s not too bad once it soaks in. The smell isn’t overpowering but it is a little strange, I also found my skin would have some redness that didn’t seem to reduce over the day. It’s a reasonable price so perhaps worth giving it a go if you are looking for something that doesn’t leave a shine however my skin felt a little tight which I guess for some people would be great I just felt like it wasn’t moisturised enough\n

Love!!! My skin is oily usually and this moisturiser keep my skin in a good condition (not very very Matt) because I like dewy finish not Matt, it smells so good like flowers and a little goes a long way, I will definitely repurchase it again when I run out 😉

I have dry skin but this moisturiser is perfect for me during the warmer months because it is lightweight on skin and dries down to matte finish. This moisturiser works beautifully as a makeup base as it minimise the appearance of my large pores and it doesn’t interfere with my foundation. Although it is an oil free moisturiser it still kept my face hydrated throughout the day. The plastic tub packaging is very handy for travelling.

Absolutely adore this, fabulous product, love, love, love it. It’s super light to wear with the most gorgeous silky, fluid texture, it feels divine to apply, it spreads easily and sinks straight into my skin making my skin feel super soft and hydrated and with a gorgeous matte finish. This leaves my skin fresh all day, it prevents oiliness and shine and makes a beautiful base for makeup, making it also last longer. I love how the product makes my skin feel so fresh all day, I can’t honestly be without it as it gives my skin such a flawless finish. It won’t irritate sensitive skin, is great value and it really WORKS. LOVE it and highly recommend it, simply gorgeous.

I think I have used all the products available in the Effaclar range, and I enjoy using them all. This one however is my least favourite. Do not get me wrong. It is a great moisturiser with a mattifying effect for oily and combination skins. In my opinion it just lacks a wow factor. It hydrates the skin, yes, it will never clog your pores, on the contrary, it might help to clear them, but it just does not mattify enough for me. And on top of that, it might not work well with some of the make up primers and foundations. It might pile on and ball up, and I hate this feeling. If it is used on its own, it is perfect. I suppose it is designed to be a day cream, as at night we do not need a matte effect, so it should be improved.

I love the fresh smell of this product, it’s lovely to have on my face. I am quite oily and have been recommended to use this product by multiple people so when I finally tried it, it did not disappoint. It leaves the face feeling lovely, soft and matte. The tube has a convenient flip top so you never lose the lid. It is a bit expensive especially for the size of the product but it does seem worth it as it is a good base to have under my make up.

I have combination skin and I do find that my face gets a bit too oily when wearing makeup and I was hoping this moisturiser would help keep me matte. I didn’t think it made much of a difference but I found it too drying for me. For more oily skin types it is a great lightweight moisturiser.

I really enjoyed this moisturiser. It was light weight enough to absorb into the skin but moisturising enough to help my dry skin. It works well under makeup, leaving you with a subtle natural glow. I wouldn’t say that this was a super mattifyimf product, however for being a moisturiser, it certainly does a lovely job.
