I am very pleased with this sunscreen, as it suits my sensitive skin pretty well and seems to prevent sunburn even on my fair skin. To start with it comes in a tube with a pump top applicator/dispenser which makes it easy to dispense the right amount of product. It also provides great UV protection and doesn’t sting or irritate my skin at all, and there is no heavy fragrance. The texture isn’t light but I find it absorbs well into my skin and doesn’t feel sticky or heavy, plus it doesn’t dry out my skin either. I would definitely recommend this sunscreen to anyone with sensitive skin who wants good sun protection without the harsh chemicals!

High protection
I prefer a sunscreen that contains SPF 50+, is non-greasy, is clear once applied, has a lightweight consistency, is fast absorbing and is suitable for sensitive skin. The La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra Cream SPF 50+ ticks all those boxes.
The lightweight cream applies smoothly and evenly and dries fairly quickly with no visible film. No stickiness or greasy feeling – just comfortable feeling skin. I have fair which burns easily so using an effective high protection sunscreen is very important to me and the Ultra Cream has. Worked for me. I only use the Ultra Cream on my body because I use the Ultra Light on my face.

What a fantastic facial sunscreen. It’s super light and goes on really easily, without feeling sticky, oily, or giving you that awful burning sensation around the eyes. Like so many of the La Roche Posay products, a little goes a long way, so I found that it really lasts. It sits nicely under make-up, which is a big one for me. And because it is for sensitive skin, I didn’t have that thing where if it gets in your eyes, you’ll be in agony for days. Sunscreen is paramount in Australia, and for a little bit more $$, I reckon this product is definitely worth what you pay (although I’d love it even more if it were cheaper).

I absolutely love this product. I have been searching for a high SPF for my husband to use daily as he works outdoors. It’s a non-greasy product that is light on the skin and doesn’t feel like other suncreams. I used it also and it sits wonderful under makeup.\nI took both SPF cream and the tinted bb SPF cream camping with me, and both my husband and I and our friends used it all holidays and will all be repurchasing. No one suffered breakouts (which a few if us experience with other SPF products), none of us got sunburn, it has no fragrance and didn’t irritate anyone’s eyes. We’re all different skin types and it worked for all of us. \nCannot recommend this product enough. \n

High SPF sunscreen
I recently tried the La Roche-Posay Anthelios ultra Cream. It is a a sunscreen for normal to dry skin. It provides SPF 50+ broad-spectrum protection. The sunscreen is enriched with antioxidant baicalin to fight free radicals on the surface of the skin.
It comes in a tube and is easy to dispense the liquid white cream.
I felt it was a bit sticky for my liking especially when you layer it up with foundation and make up on hot sunny days.
It does not have any strong fragrance and is parafeen free. It did get absorbed into the skin after a bit of applying. But its not something for me especially during summer.

Like the BB cream version of this cream it comes in the same nice pump packaging which makes it easy to put in your bag without worrying about product spillage. I love that this sunscreen is SPF 50+. The product was easy to apply and didn’t have much of a fragrance to it. The product did feel a bit oily on my skin which I didn’t really like but it didn’t feel as heavy as some other sunscreens I have previously used. Overall it was a nice product to use and would recommend it to people with sensitive skin as it didn’t make me breakout and I didn’t have any adverse reactions with the product.

I enjoyed this version of the sunscreen much more than the tinted one. It seemed to be less greasy and not nearly as shiny, even though it still felt heavy on the skin. I wasn’t able to wear this on days when I wanted to wear makeup as it was detectable on the face and would possibly make the makeup slide off. I did put on some mascara and sadly it transferred due to greasy formula. The sunscreen was gentle on my face though and didn’t cause any breakouts despite feeling heavy. I will continue to use it on no makeup days when all I want is great protection. Big plus for the bottle with pump!

I have fairly sensitive, reactive skin and this is a great sunscreen that didn’t cause irritation or breakouts. It comes in a decent size tube and the pump dispenser makes it less messy to use and keeps the product stable. There is no strong scent and the texture is smooth, not oily and not sticky either, so it stays well under my makeup. The major positive is of course the high UV protection, so it’s perfect for this time of the year. It’s a bit pricey for an everyday sunscreen, but as my skin tolerated this cream well and it also blends in well, I will probably purchase it in the future.
