- Wash: apply daily to a wet face. Rinse thoroughly with water.
- Scrub: apply daily, massaging product in circular motions, concentrating on the T-Zone (forehead, nose & chin). Rinse off with water.

Great Product!
I really loved this product! The tube was great as it was so easy to use. It was well labelled. I could see exactly what the product was and the brand. I love how it is a wash, scrub and mask. It was also a great price as well. What I love about Garnier products are they are very good quality and they are not too expensive.
It was very easy to squeeze the product out of the tube. It was a nice black colour and it had a really nice scent to it. I used this product on my face and my face felt so cleansed after using it and I felt great!
It was also great how it used 27% recycled plastic.

Could of been better
I really like Garnier products. But this one didn’t really hit the spot. I am not gonna lie though, when I first started using this product it was amazing my face cleared up but after the first week, my results with this product started to decline. I thought that I might have done it wrong, thinking that I might have left it on too long or something like that, but I was wrong because you were able to wear it as a mask. But on a positive note, I figured that this product worked best when you scrubbed. But my blackheads didn’t disappear. Which was a shame.

Not a fan
I like a lot of Garnier products. I have combination/oily skin, I’m in my 40s and still suffer from blackheads so I thought this might work well for me.
I found that this irritated my skin a bit, I would be a bit red afterwards, my partner who likes a more coarse exfoliator really liked using this.
And I know this is silly but I didn’t like using it cos it would sometimes leave black bits through the shower and I would only use it when I was washing my hair in case it left black marks near my hairline that I didn’t spot before leaving the house.
I wanted to like this product but it just wasn’t the right product for me, partner loves it though.

Grey colour mask
I did not find this worked with blackheads. I got a big one on my chin from wearing a mask. I have been using this mask for a week. While the redness has gone from the big pimple. I think that would have gone on it’s own. The charcoal comes out a grey colour and washes off easily.

I hate it
I bought this product with such high hopes but was disappointed, it irtitates my skin and I feel a burning sensation a few seconds after aplying, it is hard to remove and smells terrible, kind of reminds me of men’s deodorant. The exfoliating beads are way too big and harsh, I use it as a body exfoliator instead.

First impressions aren’t always right
Not to start off negative, but when I originally used this product my skin went insanely flakey – and I didn’t even have super dry skin. So obviously I tossed it away somewhere and never looked back. Over the period of time where the mask was never to be found I was moisturising daily and just elevating my skin care routine in general. Then one day I stumbled on this again and decided to give it another shot. Genuinely one of the best decisions I’ve made because the scrub is absolutely phenomenal. It’s practically become a staple for me, and I use it every one or two days. Personally, the scrub is the best out of three because it makes your skin feel baby smooth and the tiny granules help exfoliate your skin without tearing or stripping your skin away – which is always a plus. So I highly highly highly recommend this product to anyone who has OILY TO COMBINATION SKIN and also has PAST EXPERIENCE WITH SKINCARE. If you’re looking for a first time scrub or wash maybe this isn’t for you, and you should probably try something lighter. Also make sure you MOISTURISE IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS because it helps retain the moisture your skin needs after exfoliating. The product is rated a 4, only issue being the harshness of it to the skin when it’s being focalised on the T-Zone area.

I bought the Garnier Pure Active 3 in 1 on impulse and it sat in my bathroom cupboard for a few weeks until I woke up this morning with super dehydrated skin (thank you peri menopause!).\n\nThinking it was purely a face mask I surprised at the slightly grainy texture, but persevered. It gave my skin a slight tingle but nothing unbearable. After 5-10 mins I washed it off in the shower and my skin looked smooth and felt hydrated & soft. \n\nIt’s an inexpensive product that really works. I think this will now become part of my weekly beauty routine. \n

Good but with caveats
I really wanted to like this product. Really I did. Chaorcoal, exfoliation, oil control, acne control, and a mask alongside, all in one tube, it sure does promise a lot.
And as such, it delivers…mostly. Is it effective at removing oil? Very much so. Is it a good exfoliator? combined with a good gentle facial scrubber, absolutely it is. Does it work well as a mask? By and large yes. But…
It does not wash off easily, or if it does, it certainly doesn’t leave behind that sparkly squeaky clean feel that a good cleanser should. It almost feels like I just wiped off a rich cleansing milk off my face without washing off the residue. I normally use it in the shower and I can get it off properly, but it also makes a mess in the sink and on light coloured towels if it remains on the face even in small traces. It won’t be my pick for a quick face wash over the sink.
However, a good toner applied after washing the face solves all of that.
