Using the built-in spatula, take a small amount of the cleansing balm and massage into dry skin and over eyes using circular motions. Apply warm water to activate before gently rinsing off. Follow with your favourite Dr. LeWinn’s Serum and Moisturiser for the ultimate customisation. Suitable for everyday use.

Pink cleansing balm
I purchased this on sale from Priceline and it’s quite nice. It is pink in colour, come with a spatula which I don’t use and has a next to no scent.
I use this cleansing balm in the shower when I’ve worn makeup. I apply it to dry skin and massage it over my entire face including my closed eyes. After I feel like I’ve covered my whole face I wet my hands and keep massaging before I rinse it off. My skin afterwards feels soft and comfortable. It doesn’t cause any tightness and does not leave any greasy residue or film on my skin like I’ve experienced with other brands.
I really do like this cleansing balm a lot but it’s not the best at moving my mascara. I still find that after rubbing the balm over my lashes that my mascara is still there. Despite this minor inconvenience I will still continue to purchase this product.

Daily cleansing balm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved it! Feels nice on the skin, makes my skin feel hydrated and soft after use. It also comes with a small spatula to get the product out, which is good so I don’t need to stick my fingers into the tub. It is a good size too so will end up lasting me a long time. There is no strong fragrance to it and can be used everyday. I use it every night to wash my face and love how it leaves my face feeling after! It Is gentle on the skin and melts makeup off once water is added, I do have to double cleanse to get rid of all the makeup on my skin, but that’s something I always already do anyway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cleansing balm has quickly become my go-to product for removing makeup. It was such a nice surprise to open it up and see the gorgeous pink colour, makes it more fun to use! Also love the little spatula sits right in the lid so you don’t lose it and it stays clean.
Despite the slightly grainy texture, the balm isn’t abrasive on the skin nor harsh on the eye area. It effectively melted down and eliminated my makeup however I needed to cleanse twice to make sure everything was gone – I do this as part of my routine anyway so it didn’t bother me.
What sets this cleansing balm apart from others I’ve tried, is its lack of fragrance – great for sensitive skin. It rinses off effortlessly, without leaving an oily sensation. The end result is clean and soft skin.
My skin feels hydrated post-cleansing. I wholeheartedly recommend this balm to all, including those with sensitive skin.

Would not recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My initial thoughts when applying this Dr Lewinn’s product is quite thick and oily. Once emulsified with water the product is slightly less oily. Upon removal you must scrub quite a bit to remove the oily residue left on your skin. It does leave your skin feeling quite supple and hydrated. In my opinion, the negatives outweigh the positives. I would not pay to purchase this product. It requires a little of effort to remove the oily residue remaining on the skin, whilst leaving my skin hydrated, this was an un-dismissible negative of Dr Lewinn’s Daily Cleansing Balm.
This product would be ideal for those wearing foundation as I could imagine it would remove it quite well. As this is a thick Balm I think it would be ideal. I have not trialled this product with foundation on so this is an I’ll informed opinion.

Perfect for makeup removal!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this product as a first step in the cleansing process! A little bit goes very far and was super easy to work into the skin. It was great to use before hopping into the shower in the mornings and at night, I found that it removed my makeup very well in one go, especially the mascara. I did find that it was very important to follow the instructions about using it on dry skin – I saw much better results that way. I also found it helpful to work it into the skin for longer than expected so you get every bit of makeup off in one go.

Lovely Balm!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a lovely easy to use product! It was really thorough and I didn’t feel like I had to scrub too hard or anything like that. I also loved the scent, it’s really subtle but adds to the experience as a whole. I used a damp face washer to remove it which I think was necessary, I tried some wipes and they still left some residue. I would definitely lean towards this. All for taking off a full face of makeup, it’s a lot of maintenance to do for just a small amount or just eyes etc. I’ve recommended to my sister as well

Beautiful soothing cleanser

It’s a lovely texture- starts off a little grainy when first massaged into the skin but soon melts into a lovely buttery consistency that removes makeup and spf really effectively. It’s unscented and very soothing so I think it would be well tolerated by those with slightly sensitive skin like myself. It doesn’t leave any residue and my face felt so soft and smooth after rinsing. I really appreciate that the packaging includes a spatula so you can use the product hygienically as well. An all round fantastic product and one I would be very happy to repurchase in future!
